do you give fixed quotes?

Always. And we specify what we are going to do in advance.

How long does it take?

Depends on the size of the task but we try to work around you and we will always give you an estimate and keep you in the loop. Think: ‘a few days to a week’ for one-off data mining/migration; ‘a few weeks’ for re-programming existing systems or small new databases and systems; and ‘a month or more’ for bigger new systems.

Will I be able to work it?

We make video handbooks showing how whatever it is works.

Will you still be there anyway?

A lot of our new business is from old clients and people they know. We have every incentive to not let you down in the first place, fix things promptly, and keep in touch to keep you happy.

what are the advantages of a one-person company?

Low overheads so great value. And the peace of mind of knowing that the person you always speak to is the one that always needs to understand, and deliver.  

what are the disadvantages of a one-person company?

In most business cases the most important thing is the personal interaction between you and the person doing the job. In more advanced cases there is merit in more minds being involved.   

is my customer data protected?

Yes.  We won't send your data by email.  We ask you not to either.  We'll arrange an appropriately secure way to examine it.  On our systems your data is encrypted at rest and securely deleted when the job is done.
